Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using DailyDala.

1. User Roles

DailyDala operates with four distinct user roles. Each role has specific permissions and responsibilities within the platform.

  • Customer: Individuals who browse menus, place orders, and pay for food delivery services.
  • Vendor: Restaurant owners or food establishments that manage menus, receive orders, and prepare food for pickup.
  • Rider: Independent contractors who accept delivery requests, pick up food from vendors, and deliver them to customers.
  • Admin: System administrators who manage the overall platform, resolve disputes, and manage user accounts.

2. Account Status

User accounts on DailyDala may have different statuses affecting their ability to access the platform.

  • Active: The user has full access to all features associated with their role.
  • Suspended: The user is temporarily unable to log in or perform actions. This occurs if an account receives 3 valid reports. The suspension lasts for 3 weeks.
  • Blocked: The user is permanently banned from the platform. If an account is suspended 3 times, it is permanently blocked.

3. Rider Assignment Rules

Important: Riders are NOT automatically assigned to deliveries. Riders must manually choose and accept delivery requests from the available list.
  • A rider may only accept ONE active delivery at a time.
  • A rider cannot accept another order until the current delivery is marked as completed or cancelled.
  • This limitation is strictly enforced by the system to ensure quality and timely service.

4. Orders & Delivery

  • Orders remain visible and clickable in the history after delivery.
  • Rider Visibility: Once a rider accepts an order, the rider’s full name and contact number may be shown to the customer to facilitate coordination.
  • Vendors are responsible for ensuring order accuracy before handing it over to the rider.

5. Ratings & Reports

We maintain a high standard of service through a transparent rating and reporting system.

  • Customers: May rate and report Vendors or Riders after delivery.
  • Riders: May report Customers after delivery or cancellation.
  • Admin Notifications: All reports notify the Admin. Reports appear in the Admin dashboard and sidebar notifications for immediate review.

6. Payments

DailyDala supports GCash payments centrally via the platform Admin. Customers should follow the checkout instructions to pay the Admin account and upload proof for verification.

  • Customers pay only the total cost of ordered products via the QR code.
  • The Delivery Fee and Service Fee are NOT included in the QR payments unless specifically stated otherwise by the Vendor.

7. Service Fee

The platform applies a Service Fee to transactions.

  • The Service Fee may be a default percentage of the order value.
  • Alternatively, the Service Fee may be customized per Vendor based on a specific agreement.
  • Note: The platform is not VAT registered. Do not expect VAT charges or VAT invoices.

8. Messaging

  • Messaging is allowed between Customers, Vendors, and Riders to facilitate order coordination.
  • Messages are NOT automatically deleted.
  • Users may only manually delete messages through allowed actions within the chat interface.

9. Admin Authority

The Admin reserves the right to:

  • Review all reports and disputes.
  • Suspend or block accounts violating these terms.
  • Manage system settings and fee structures.
